My Last Bull Fight is a triptych comprised of three 24X36 panels. This, I believe, is the last of my corporate armor series. The bull fight was the perfect metaphor for all that was great and terrible about that life. The double entendre of the "bull" fight tickled me into a better perspective of what was a brutal ending. It let me know that the job, my career, was after all a game.
Panel I: The matador in what was my favorite phase of the fight, all dressed up, ready, and quiet before the bell rings.
Panel II: Answering the bell and in the zone with the bull.
Panel II: The bull wins. Blood in the afternoon. I put myself in Cezanne's "Dead Matador" pose.
