Valentine Behind

My figurative work is about the glorification of an object; whether that object was created by the hand of man, God, or like Valentine Sophia from Behind, pasta. The way the edges shape the shadow, the way the light plays on the color,  the gesture inherent in the shape, all conspire to make everyday objects glorious on the canvas.

She owes it all to pasta but she didn't say so.  This piece is framed.
